Med ISF 3-Day

I have run Low ISF 3-Day twice. Thank you Barbell Medicine. I want to move to Med ISF 3-Day. I am misunderstanding the programming. For example, Week 7 Back Squat “3 reps @ RPE 7. Keep the weight the same, and complete 6 more reps, adjusting the # of reps per set to keep RPE at RPE 7.” For this I am reading something like 3 reps @ RPE 7 likely followed by another couple of 3 reps @ RPE 7 for a total exercise volume of 9 REPS. Exercise over and move onto chest. Can’t be right. Volume too low. Low ISF 3-Day had me 90 min under the lash on back squat day. My interpretation of Med ISF 3-Day will have me out in 35 min! Can anyone clarify how to interpret the programming instructions?

It sounds like you have it down pretty well. Bear in mind that this is a low fatigue template, so nine reps doesn’t seem outlandish here.
