I just found out that there’s a meet in my state (New Mexico) in six weeks and I’m planning to enter it. I completed the Strength 3 template four weeks ago and since then I’ve been running a hypertrophy block. I’m wondering what the best training strategy would be to prepare for the meet. I was thinking about repeating the first three weeks of Strength 3 followed by 3 weeks on the Advanced Fast Peaking template. Does that look like a good plan? This would be my 5th USAPL meet. (I’m a masters 3 lifter at 83 kg.)
