Starting a log for accountability here. Currently doing novice LP.
Stats: 30 y.o. male, 5’10", ~163 lbs.
Also I’m a first year medical student. I love the content put out by barbell medicine and will be recommending barbell training to my future patients!
3/26/18:
Squat - 180 x 5,5,5 @ 7ish?
Bench - 175 x 5,5,5 @ 9ish?
Deadlift - 215 x 5 @ no idea
Don’t think my presses will go much further with straight LP but my lower-body lifts seem to have room to grow, so I think I will be a good candidate for the press plug-in in the near future.
3/28/18:
Squat - 185 x 5 @ 7, 5 @8, 5 @ 8
Press - 110 x 5 @ 9, 5 @ 9.5, 5 @ 9.5
was going to do rows, but due to equipment/space/time limitations at my university gym, I’ll tack them on to the end of Friday’s workout.
3/31/18:
Friday’s session got pushed back to today, then upon looking at my log, I realize I messed up today and accidentally repeated the last squat session, no wonder it felt easier.
Squat - 185 x 5@ 6, 185 x 5 @7, 185 x 5@7
Bench - 180 x 5 @ 9, 180 x 5@10, 180 x 5@10 (getting grindy)
Row - 125 x 5,5,5 (I have a very hard time judging RPE on these, maybe somewhere around 7)
