Mixing Bodybuilding with Powerlifting in one session

Would it be counterproductive to add a couple bodybuilding-type for the more show muscles like bicep curls, or shrugs or even tricep pulldowns at the higher rep ranges the end of a powerlifting based sets? Would it be a waste of time, would it hamper strength gains?

Curls or tricep work are reasonable.

I would not add shrugs, as they are 1) not that useful, and 2) can be loaded fairly heavy, which would result in more fatigue than your programming might plan for.
