New member, re-visiting SSLP, help.

Nice to meet everyone! I have a few issues I’m working through and was hoping I might find some advice. Keeping somewhat brief, although that’s alot going on here.
Had a SSC about a year ago, was awesome and turned me down a great path. I have always been an athlete, former fighter and huge jiu-jiJiu fanatic. The gym has always been a huge part of life. My SS coach gave me marks book and I drank it up before our second session. He quickly told me I was an intermediate. My tecnique and numbers progressed very fast. Being 34 @205 I felt my numbers were decent. 1RM’s bench 305, press(5reps)165, squat 405 and deads 455. This took about 3-4 months. I felt great but then…HERE IT COMES I was on TRT pellets, I crashed and went 4 months without any HR. But I didn’t stop training. Fast forward 6-7 months (NOW) I’ve been back on TRT for 3 months but it has been absolutel hell getting back my strength. I’m running SSLP( modified with a light squat day, and some back work) again to try and get my numbers respectable again before moving to bridge method but I’m stalling out VERY VERY far from where I once was. My nutrition isn’t 100% on point ,probably 80%. As of now that’s my focus, but after a few weeks my strength has begin to stall again. At this point I’m just grinding through for any increase in numbers I can. Someone throw me some knowledge?? Thanks so much. As I mentioned before , this is a breif explanation of what’s happening, I can give more details if anyone is interested.

There could be many reasons why you didn’t hit your previous LP numbers possibly having something to do with not being completely untrained and the volume of LP wasn’t sufficient (but this is just speculation on my part). Anyways, Jordan has said many times on his instagram lives that he wouldn’t continue to grind out and reset and grind to squeeze everything out of LP. I’m sure his recommendation would be to start the bridge.

I agree with Bear_Bryan, just hop on the bridge and work on your nutrition. I was super worried about my progress for a while but learned the less you worry about it the better things get.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I started the bridge that next day. felt pretty good!
