PB I am I doing it wrong?

Today I come to you with mabe a silly question…

I am currently on Week 7 in the PB I Template and I love it. But today I wondered if I am doing it kinda wrong.

In the Week 1 for example there was something like “5 reps @ RPE 7, 5 reps @ RPE 8. No back off sets”

Now I take Week 7 Day 3 as an example:

Today a realized (quite late I guess) that its e.g. “1 Rep @ RPE 8, 3 Reps @ RPE 8 x 1 set. 3 Reps x2 sets @ 82%” no mentioning of back off sets… so are the 3 Reps x 2 Sets @ 82% the Back off sets or didn’t I do the back off sets at all? :smile:

and one more thing concerning the 2 count paused Bench .Today it was " ### 5 reps @ RPE 9 (86%), then take of 5% and to sets of 5 until RPE 9 again (cap at 2 back-off sets)" I guess the “and to sets of 5” is a typo and should be “and DO sets of 5” (sorry but I am not a native speaker)
In that case I did 3 sets of 5 with 92.5 kg in set 3 it felt like RPE 8.5-9 and I stopped… and since I dind’t really understand what (Cap at 2 back-off sets) meant I just did 2 sets of 80 kg afterwards.

I think I am going to run the Template again when I am finished and go on to PB II after the second time.

In the second example, the 2 sets of 3 reps @ 82% are the back off sets. You are correct that it should be “do sets of 5.” If you can repeat the weight for sets of 5 that you originally did for a set of 5 @ 9, it might not have been a 9, you know?
