Peaking after Legacy Hypertrophy Template

Is it is a good idea to run one of free peaking templates after a Hypertrophy block. The legacy hypertrophy is mostly 6s and it was generally recommended to run it between strength blocks. Will I get additional benefits If I ran a 3 week peaking after the hyprtrophy block before starting the 12 week template since the 12 week template starts with a long development block?
