Peri Rx Flush/Itchiness Common?

Hello,

I’ve started taking Peri RX (the recent version and haven’t had any previously). I am getting a flush/itchiness around my face and ears that feels similar to higher doses of niacin. Is this to be expected or should it be a concern? I definitely feel like I move weights faster using Peri RX (I haven’t really done many supplements before) but not sure what to think of this itchiness.

Thanks for all the great info and programming restarting after a year off and was up to 405 DLs and 195 press which was pretty good for a 6’4" lanky person:)

Scoots,

Yes, it’s the beta alanine and it’s 100% normal. It should dissipate as you get more used to it

Nice lifts dude!

Dr. Fiegenbuam says that the tingle, tingles, pin-prick, itchy skin sensation from the supplement beta alanine is normal and will dissipate over time.

Reply simply to help more folks find this with different search terms as it took me more digging to find this answer than I suspect many people will attempt before asking an answered question.
