Planning for an interruption in the program

I’m going to be finishing The Bridge v1 in a couple weeks, and my plan was to go into the 12 wk strength program when that ends. However, for Thanskgiving week (which will be week 7 in the program, the second Specialization week), I’ll be on a 2 day road trip Sun-Tue, then at my sister’s Tue-Fri, then road trip back Sat-Sun. There’s no way I could do anything but some pushups/ab work on the road trip days, but on Tue-Fri I can probably squeeze in 1, possibly 2 training sessions at a local Y or something.

Any suggestions on how to handle the interruption to the program with the minimum detriment to gainzZz?

Sometimes this happens and there’s nothing you can really do other than to train as much as you can while traveling. I think you could probably squeeze in a session or two with that schedule, dude.

Yea I will definitely get in at least one if not two while I’m there. I was wondering if should I try to mimic the prescribed week as best as I can and count it as that week, or just make sure I get in the comp lifts and quality volume in those sessions, but not count it as a week in the program, and simply pick up where I left off when I return home.
