I recently picked up the Beginner Template and I’m really liking it. I was originally running a 531 variant, but glad I made the switch. I’m pretty much running the Template exactly as it is, except my cardio requirements are a bit higher (4 x 45 mins at RPE 6 - 7 per week, 1 x 25 mins Interval training per week, minimum 10k steps per day).
This week I can’t make it to the gym on Monday, Wednesday, or the weekend. I just did my Day 1 workout today, and I’m planning on doing my Day 2 workout on Thursday. Should I try and do my Day 3 workout on Friday without a day for rest and adjust RPE, or put Day 3 on Monday of next week? I find the Day 3 workouts pretty tiring because of the Squat programming and really like having Sat and Sun to rest in terms of weight lifting. Pretty much running Day 1 on Monday, Day 2 on Wednesday, and Day 3 on Friday has so far had my body not complaining at all. Any advice on how to handle this?
