Just started the 4 Day GPP/Hypertrophy program and am looking down the road to what I’ll run afterward. The Powerbuilding templates fit what I want to do next and are currently on sale, so if it looks like that will work for me I’ll just buy it now.
How long are the workouts?
Is this a good program to run after the 4 Day Hypertrophy bias template?
What is the difference between the digital template and Legacy templates?
I just finished the 4day hypertrophy program and bought the 4day powerbuilding program to do next. I obviously haven’t run it yet but:
It looks like it will take about the same amount of time, maybe a little shorter.
I can’t think of a reason why not.
3. The digital templates are the recently released templates. The legacy templates are the older ones. The powerbuilding template specifically has different exercises, rep schemes, and a different layout from the hypertrophy template.
The new Powerbuilding templates are follow-ups to the old/legacy Hypertrophy templates, so it would probably still be more ideal to run a strength focused template after the old Hypertrophy plan. The new Hypertrophy templates are completely new btw. and have less focus on the Big Three (more bodybuilding type “hypertrophy”).
Thanks guys. I’m sort of torn between the Powerbuilding and Strengthlifting. I’m thinking about a strongman competition next year, maybe focusing on strength after this is a better option.
I’d think so too… get either the Strength II or the Strength III if you’re more advanced and also want to use more overload movements (you can change the focus on the Strength III from bench to overhead press too). And btw. according to Jordan there will be a Strongman template soon as well :).
I’m in a similar spot: having run the bridge 3.0 and now wrapping up the hypertrophy, I just bought the power building II to start next.
My personal preference is for the pure strength programs (I love singles and 4’s) but I am continuing to lose weight and so this template makes more sense right now. And the program itself looks great, lots of variation both in rep range and exercise selection. I was worried it would be too similar to Hypertrophy but it’s not.
