I’m having some trouble understanding the primary differences between these templates? Can anyone elaborate a bit?
Strength III is a more advanced template where the user is involved in picking their exercises. It also is higher volume and has some different intensity schemes. It can be used for strengthlifting (with the press) or powerlifting (with the bench press), hence the naming, which I agree isn’t the best.
I find it hard to know how advanced I am, I guess strength III is too much for me atm, but how would I know if I was advanced, Doctor? Is it one those things “you just know”?
Is it something that would make sense to run pre-meet?
Thanks again!
Admittedly, this is one of those squishy things with significant interindividual variation. Additionally, defining how advanced someone is pretty meaningless because it doesn’t tell you what to do with your programming.
In the previous reply, I was suggesting that Strength III is for folks who have advanced beyond Strength II (PL II), but not any specific level of advancement.
It is setup to run into a meet or test, yes.
