Hi, everyone. I know this has been covered by Jordan, but I just can’t find it.
If I wake up at 7am and workout at 730, will this work:
7:00 Wake and immediately take whey protein with oats (overnight oats style).
7:15 Pre-workout w/ caffeine (switching from amped to Peri very soon).
7:30 - 9:30 workout followed by creatine/Peri
10:30ish “breakfast”
Anything wrong or sub-optimal with this?

Do you feel the caffeine by the time you start lifting? Does your stomach feel fine throughout the workout? If the answer to both of those is yes, then you’re good to go.

Thank you, Sean! I tried it twice last week and had no issues with my stomach. I’m guess not a morning person, because the caffeine never really gives me the desired effect, but it seems to kick in by the end of warmups.
In that case, I’d just take it as soon as you wake up, at the same time as your whey protein with oats. I usually take mine 30-45 minutes before I start lifting, but it’s somewhat individual.
