I started cutting down this year around Feb. I did the endurance program first (lost about 7 pound), and all my big lifts actually went down after that. So I did the old Hypertrophy bias 3 day program after that (lost about 5 pounds ), and I am current in week 5 of the powerbuilding 2 ( lost another 2+ pound so far). my waist now close to 30, which is down from almost 35 last year. (i am 5’ 6’')
A little bit more history of mine: I have done bridge 2 and 3, hypertrophy 3day and one round of pivot last year.
For now my E’ Max for DL and Bench went back to about the same as before I did the endurance program. Squat is still down about 10 lb. Press is slightly up.
I am happy with my waist now, so I want to stop the cut after finishing power building 2. My goal for the next phase is to gain back some lean mass and control my fat gain at the same time.
I saw many options I can go next: 1) focus on strength (like strength 1 or 2) 2) focus on endurance ( like Titan) 3) re-run hypertrophy bias programs
So my question is what kind of training program should I be focusing on next? (what direction should I go for the next 6 months of time). Thanks!
