I’m wondering how you would adjust a trainees programming if they were lifting 3 days per week but had to lift back to back days (wed, sat, sun). for my personal situation i am an intermediate lifter who needs to gain size and also continue skill acquisition. i am inclined to include comp lifts and technically harder stuff on saturday and less specific hypertrophy work on sunday. does that make sense, or would you expect recovery to be enough btw sat and sunday to be able to run one of your template programs unadjusted? thanks!
