I’ve been the Beginner Template (BT) for 5 weeks (so Phase 1 week 4.2 atm).
Most lifts are either stagnating or declining (maybe).
Looking at the Analysis graph there is an initial spike up followed by decline in most movements. Week 2 was at a different gym so a different brands of plates may have been lighter which could account for uptake and then consequent apparent drop. Also on squats my form was not good (not going to depth) so I backed off on weight to correct depth.
Ive been on a +250 cal surplus (macros in line with TBAB article) since week 3.

Today’s workout movements showed the same trend (flat or declining) so on to Phase 2!
Im hoping I can cope with the added volume and intensity in Phase 2.
My lumbar back doesn’t seem to be recovering very well with more frequent aches and pains. Its not stopping me doing the exercises though. Nothing to be concerned about do you think?
Im also doing 30 min low intensity running x2 week on ‘rest’ days - is this OK for GPP?
