Prowler conditioning

For purely conditioning purposes what is the better way to use the Prowler?

Should I be constantly adding/lowering the weight to maintain maximum effort for 30 seconds at a set distance? Or should I just use distance /speed as the variable? If my question is a little confusing…In short how should I maximize my time on the Prowler?

For purely conditioning purposes, I would not aim to continually be adding load to the prowler. If you’ve found an effective conditioning “dose” in terms of speed / distance, you can use the loading to maintain a consistent effort level and/or introduce a bit of progressive overload to things while you increase the overall conditioning volume. In contrast, if you continually add load to the point where you’re effectively walking behind a very heavy prower, you’ve substantially altered the stimulus.
