Question about beef protein isolate, egg protein supp

Let me preface that I can’t tolerate whey, somehow,
So, I googled BBM forum. Your second recommendations were Beef, and egg supplements. That said, Beef protein seems just like fancy collagen protein to me. Any tips to distinguish whether it’s decent or not?

As far as egg protein goes, my concern about egg supp is that it can be duplicated protein source.
I regularly eat boiled 4 eggs a day. Nevertheless, should I get egg proteins?

I’m not sure what you mean by beef protein seeming like collagen protein outside of the amino acid content. The bioavailability of beef protein isolate is in the 80’s whereas collagen is near zero. Hydrolyzed beef protein is not beef protein isolate, so if I was going to recommend a beef protein isolate with a high BCAA content per serving, no added hydrolyzed beef protein, etc.

An egg protein supplement would work just fine if you need a protein supplement.

Have you tried whey protein isolate? If so, what were you symptoms?

I’ve tried WPI and WPC both. Both didn’t worked out well.
WPI made me diarrhea, and WPC caused me to bloat(My face feels bloated.) regardless of taking lactase enzyme pills.
The symptoms went away when I stopped taking whey.
I’m kinda sad that I can’t use whey.

Yea I hear you. I would get an egg or vegan protein then in that case.
