Rehab questions

Hello guys

Couple of rehab questions but first of all I cannot thank you enough for the resources you provide I learned alot and I was able to self manage alot of training related injuries throughout the years. Ive bought low back/knee rehab but never really needed them but mainly for support. To the questions now :

  1. I recently got sick with a common cold and after couple of days I got random knee pain in both knees but when i warm up its all good is this a normal occurence?

  2. When you sustain an injury to a certain tissue do you have a waiting/resting period before loading the area again for best results. I usually load the area after about 24h and it seems fine. Is it better to wait more say 48h or start loading straight away?

1- I would manage this similar to any of the other issues you’ve handled with our content/recommendations.

2- If what you are doing is working well, I don’t see a reason to strongly recommend any other arbitrary time cutoff. Some injuries may need a bit more time, and some less, so I wouldn’t apply the same rule across the board, but if you can tolerate some movement early on, it is generally fine to do so.

Hey Austin

Appreciate your answers. First question was more like if the knee pain or any joint pain is expected symptom of a common cold/flu.

Once again thanks (BBM) for the information you provide in all aspects .
