Resistance bands length 12,20 or 42 inches?

I am thinking of buying some resistance bands for over load movements for Squat, Bench, press and Deadlift possible barbell rows. Being in the UK buying from Rogue is not feasible so Strengthshop is my option here Resistance Bands — Strength Shop

What length of bands is best here 12, 20 or 41 inches or does it depend on the lift? What set should a powerlifter/general strength trainee go for?

To use bands effectively for Variable resistance training (VRT), I think they should provide ~ 10-20% of your 1RM load. If someone has a 400lb squat, I think they should use bands that add up to ~ 80lbs total.

For this store, I’d get 2 pairs of the 41" bands. One set of the #1 for bench and press, and one set of the #2 for squat and DL.
