Was wondering what your recommendation would be regarding nutrition. I’m restarting LP after some months off and I’m not sure whether I should recomp, gain or loose a few pounds.

6 ft, 0 in
25% bodyfat via the navy test.
40 in waist.
Should I also add a couple days of conditioning on off days?
Thanks for the reply. My initial thoughts were the “Fluffy Novice” case from To Be a Beast because you incorporate some HIIT into it.
I like the Bridge program but it seems, since I de-conditioned so much, a simple LP should be run first? I’m only squatting 175 as of the last workout.
I am not concerned about that, as you will be able to linearly progress your squat to the extent that’s possible on The Bridge and there are multiple drawbacks to LP.
Is there somewhere you have gone into detail about the drawbacks to SS LP? I’m in the middle of my third week of SS and lifting more than I ever have before. (FWIW I’ve never run a structured program before, closest thing was crossfit for a couple years with bad nutrition) I’ve also just started reading The Bridge, and you may touch on it there.
