Scoliosis again

Hello again and sorry to bother you again,
I am 23 years old and the last five years I have some issues in the thoracic aera of my back. Some days i have pain in all the ride side and espasially in the lat and other days i have like a needle inside my spine (T7-T9) and when i breathe ““deep” i hear clicking and poping of the joints.I went to 2 doctors, got an MRI which showed a bulging disc (T6-T7) and a small hernia (T7-T8).All the doctors told me its nothing and not scary about.I went to a 3 doctor who told me that this is because of a minor scoliosis that i have(got an xray) and now I work with a physical therapist.Despite my fear of working out,my physical therapist told me to keep training in the gym and every week he gives me a workout” to do at home for my scoiliosis. My scoliosis is a minor curve to the right (in thoracic aera) and a twist. My question: how to deadlift and squat because of the twist(the one sholder is more forward than the other)?

P.S. When i finish the workout with my physical therapist,at the end he uses a machine which stimulates the muscles (around the T6-T10 area of the spine) with electric current. In tthe left side i feel the electric current flow but in the right side i think i feel it less.IS this some nerve damage?

Thank you very much for your time

I think you have quite a lot to learn from some of the recent threads on this site and elsewhere. I do not think you have pain due to your minor scoliosis.

But based on your description of symptoms, you do have quite a lot of fear (fear of working out, fear of scary “clicking and popping of joints”, feeling of “needles” inside your spine, fear of nerve damage, and fear of your asymmetries). This must be worked on, and you may need professional help – and not from someone who is going to put more fear into you over your asymmetries.

I’ll point you in the direction of a few resources:

First, you might find a recent thread here helpful, as it contains a number of linked resources: https://forum.barbellmedicine.com/fo…cy-denervation

That video is beautiful.Thank you a lot.I went to the gym and did deadlifts trying to fight my twist(squeezing more my left side) and i feel a lot better this last 2 days(the “pain” is less) but i dont know if this is a good approach to the deadlift.

P.S.I really admire your critical thinking
