Hey guys, about to finish up strength 1 and go into heavy light medium. Should i deload or just carry on from there. And if i should deload how should i do it?

If by “heavy light medium” you’re referring to our legacy program by the same name, it starts with a deload week and that would be fine to run as-is. All of our programs start with deload weeks to introduce users to the new movements, programming elements, training load, and in some cases, test their strength for loading purposes in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, if you’re talking about running a different heavy light medium program, I’m not sure what my advice would be, as I don’t really know much about your most recent training, the specific program you’re going to run, and so on. Those would be key to making a decision on whether you absolutely need a deload and, if so how-to do it.
