Shoulder Press - Camber or Seated?

Hey BBM,

The ceiling height in my home gym is too low to do a standing press with plates loaded on the barbell, so I’ve been training the press while seated.

I just purchased a camber attachment for my barbell so I could press while standing and tried it out today. It’s definitely different and will take some getting used to due to the “swing” of the weights.

I’m curious what your thoughts are on seated press vs standing camber press. Should I save my camber attachment for some accessory squat work and continue seated press, or switch to standing camber press full time?

Much appreciated!

PS - love your guys’ content/templates/YouTube channel. Keep up the great work!

I think doing a standing cambered press is a fine variation in this situation. You could use other variations (included seated) too, of course.
