Skipping week 1 of General Strength and Conditioning

Dear Dr. Feigenbaum,

I just finished my first run at the General Strength template, but I want to run it again with the same exercises.

Can I skip week 1 and go straight into week 2?

Hi Eddie,
You could do that, but note that this would mean you have 7 weeks in that run before a low stress week, right? I’d do week 1 so you have better spaced deloads and proceed as written.
