Something funny in my back.

Imagine you placed a ruler in your back pocket and tucked it under your shirt. Now imagine bending over like our model here (borrowed from a Greg Nuckols article).
If the tip of the ruler finished right about the apex or T12, L1 area, the way it would poke out your shirt is how I can best describe the sensation I feel in that position - obviously, under my skin, not my shirt.
No real pain to speak of, but a slight discomfort that escalates when performing movements like rows and RDLs, or touching my toes. Use to come and go, now its sticking around.
Any ideas?
