Something I've noticed about my squat...almost a year out of starting seriously

I did my back squat and started adding variations with weight after losing 30lbs+ over the year. Something I noticed was that my squat, due to it being not hip dominant when starting out (ie lean over with no hip engagement) became OVERLY hip dominant. I’d push out of the hole by cuing my hips. I thought I was in both lumbar and thoracic flexion but at the bottom of my squat my lumbar extension was not very engaging.

I started lumbar extending JUST A BIT more on the descent and out of the hole, in both low and high bar, and noticed my glutes and hamstrings are constantly engaged going into, in, and out of the hole. Is this how a squat SHOULD feel?

Who cares? None of this matters that much man. As long as your programming is good it isn’t gonna matter , squat however is comfortable for you and allows you to do it the same
way over and over again.
