Splitting Up Sttength I into a four-day program

Dear Dr. Feigenbaum,

Could splitting up a 3 Day program like Strength I in the following manner be a viable alternative?

Day I
Comp Squat
Touch N Go Bench

Day 2
2ct Paused Squat
2ct, 1" Inch Deficit DL

Day 3
Comp Deadlift
Comp Bench

Day 4
2ct Paused Bench
Squat, no belt
Wide Grip Bench

I read in one of your previous response that you would schedule a 3-day program into a 4-day program like this:

Day 1
Exercise 1
Exercise 2

Day 2
Exercise 1
Exercise 3 (of Day 1)

Day 3
Exercise 1
Exercise 2 (of Day 2)

Day 4
Exercise 2 (of Day 3)
Exercise 3 (of Day 3)
Exercise 3 (of Day 2)

But I felt like doing my Comp Bench the day after Touch N Go Benches would be far too taxing. Could what I suggested at the top be a viable alternative, or should I follow the advice that you put out in a previous post?
