Spring/Mineral Water & Carbon Filters

Do you have a recommendation or thoughts on best water sources for overall health for humans? Do you think the minerals in the water are important, if not where do you suggest getting essential minerals from that supposedly impact hydration?

With all the hype on “toxins” in water sources. I’ve come across opposing views (against RO and Berky’s and other expensive filtration systems) that suggest simply (1) using spring/mineral/lake/well water from a spring source (actual springs in nature) and (2) obtaining a carbon only filter (not Reverse Osmosis or other filters), only a simple carbon filter within your household. Ideally for the entire house to remove the chlorine from showering, but at minimum from the drinking water household source. This is if your city water does NOT have fluoride, as carbon supposedly doesn’t remove fluoride.

I’ve seen that several of the electrolytes supplements on the market have stevia and stevia in high doses, supposedly has been used in other cultures as a contraceptive.

It’s been suggested to use Fulvic & Humic Minerals, one example is this company. (not linking to this)

Or lots of coconut water, or Whey Minerals from Goats like this brand (not linking to this)

Assuming safe drinking water, e.g. treated water in most developed societies, I do not think humans need to look further for better water.

I do not recommend reverse osmosisl spring water, or using a carbon filter. I would not remove fluoride from drinking water either.
