Good day BM !
I have recently purchased 7 week hyperhropy template for 3 days/week.
I cannot do squatting and hevy deadlifts yet because I had my ACL reconstructed 7 weeks ago but still want to train in a planned manner and make progress at least in upper body lifts.
I am wondering if I can run Knee rehab teplate at the same time or is this too soon?
No significant swelling and pain but no full mobility yet (especially in knee flexion, almost full terminal extension).
You can definitely use our template for your upper body work. If you’ve been cleared to exercise without restrictions then you could start on the knee rehab template, yes. If you haven’t been cleared to exercise without restrictions then further modifications will need to be made per your doctor.
Jordan, thank you for response.
The issue is that my surgeon is clearly anti lifting guy and from the beggining noceboed me saying that I should change the sport as I should never lift again and I will be better off with cycling or swimming. Also when I asked od I should have the same exact hyperextension in the affected leg as in the “healthy one” he respond that I dont need it. This is clearly not correct right?
So I dont expect him to give me a go for lifting. I really dont know when I can start.
But anyways. I guees I will run the template for upper body only for now and focus on small rehabilitation excersises for lower body.
Because of lacking lower body involvement in this program should I expect my upper body to benefit from a little more volume than originally prescribed in the template? If that can be the case do you have any good idea how to carefully implement it to the program?
