Last Friday evening I started feeling unwell - upset stomach and feeling a little dizzy/woozy when standing (no diarrhea or vomiting, but bowels definitely not happy). I’m guessing it’s some sort of stomach bug rather than something I ate (didn’t eat anything unusual). Felt similar over the weekend, but by Monday I felt pretty much normal, and on Tuesday I did my training as usual with no adverse effects or performance.
Felt not so good later that day after training though - run down and a bit woozy again. Wednesday felt good again and also on Thursday, so did my training on Thursday. Felt ok after training.
Today, not feeling so good again. Run down and still a bit of an upset stomach.
I’m wondering if training is putting too much stress on my body right now, as it seems I’m not over whatever is making me feel ill.
I’m scheduled to train again tomorrow, but I’m wondering if you’d recommend resting instead? It’s one of those annoying illnesses where you think your over it, but it keeps coming back! I can hit the numbers in training and I hate missing a session, but I don’t want to drag out getting better.
