Training for "General Strength" in Combat Sport

tl;dr: what template and/or training style would be most appropriate for someone in a grappling sport (BJJ) who wants to be oppressively strong on the mats, but is not necessarily focused on maximizing strength in the Big 3 right now?

For further context, I am in the process of losing weight to move down a weight class from ~180 to ~165. I’m one of the strongest guys in my gym, and I’d like to keep it that way even at a lower bodyweight. I’ve been taking a break from the specific powerlifts for a while now, but previously loved the PB3 template and made excellent progress with it. Now, I’m focused on “GPP strength”, muscle mass, grappling-specific strength and conditioning, all while losing weight.

Any recommendations? I’d prefer a 4-day template, and am split between BB2, PB3, S3 v2.0, or GS&C 2.

General Strength and Conditioning 2 would be the recommended program, though I would be cautious about that amount of training volume without knowing your training history and BJJ training load right now. You may want to start with the 3 day version included in the download, though you could break that up over more days if you prefer.
