I’m assuming the benefits of activity outweigh the benefits of non-activity depending on your symptoms. If I’m feeling like I have a mild cold am I good to train as I normally would?
I’ve seen conflicting information on what’s recommended even for someone who “feels ok.”
““People can feel well and still have a relapse that could be triggered by exertion,” says David Salman, a general practitioner and clinical research fellow in musculoskeletal and sports medicine at Imperial College London. But physical activity is, of course, essential for your overall health, so it’s worthwhile to work on finding the right balance.”
Yes, that can certainly cause confusion. I don’t even know what a “relapse” means here, and that final sentence about “finding the right balance” is too vague to be helpful.
There is no evidence-based advice that can be given here. If I felt well enough to train, I would train and adjust loads as needed.
