Unilateral Exercises

Hi

I was wondering if when I am doing eg seated Leg Extensions Unilateral does it make any difference if I am doing them alternating (left, right, left, right) or do 12 reps right and the 12 reps left.

I sometimes feel like this thoughts are totaly overthinking it, but yet I dont stop asking myself, so I figured I just ask the OGs.

I don’t think it matters provided you’re getting somewhere near failure.
