Whey

Hi! Was wondering about whey. You guys seem very much on the science of things. How do you recommend whey then when using it has not been proven to increase muscle mass (as I understand it). I myself think it is obvious that you would use it even without the studies “proving” it BUT the same could be said about other things that you do not recommend. Do you get what I am getting at? When does something need to be proven in science and when does it not?

I would love to have you guys deliberating a bit about this topic in a future Q&A.

Whey has been shown to improve muscle mass when it corrects low total essential amino acid intake and also has been shown to maybe improve outcomes when dieting.

We recommend it for those who need a protein supplement for convenience or to improve adherence.
