Will I run out of the stimulus + crazy gainzzz in hypertrophy I

Hello BBM team,

As I have previously mentioned, I hopped on BBMs beginner template and made the best gains of my life, period. I decided to hop onto Hypertrophy I because I was seeking more PowerBuilding/Hypertrophy goals. My estimated 1rms shot up again and I am currently planning on running Hypertrophy II.
here are my current stats after hyp 1
Height: 182cm
Weight: 83.5kg
Age: 17
Squat HB: 107kg —>132kg
Bench: 69kg —> 81kg
Deadlift: 141kg—>167kg
Back and arms got noticeably bigger.
Here are my questions: Would the extra amount of volume in Hypertrophy II be wasted and potentially even hurt my long term progress. I got the program and saw that there are 2-3 shoulder pressing slots and 3-4 bench slots. Would this be too much for my current level of strength and experience? And if I make progress with this high frequency pressing, would it mean that my future progress would be help back because I “spent the volume” and “adapted to it” at an earlier stage of training. I have only seen very strong people bench press 3+ times per week and it makes me feel like I haven’t “earned” the ability to up the frequency and volume to such an extent. Would I be better served just repeating Hypertrophy I while making a few exercise adjustments? Thank you for the gainz so far team!

It is unlikely that the extra volume is going to hurt long-term progress (once you get used to it). That said, if you were getting great results on hypertrophy I, I’d probably just re-run it unless you wanted a change in programming. In that case, I don’t think another hypertrophy template would represent enough “change” to be worthwhile.

To be clear, I don’t think that a program that generates significant progress will hold someone back from future progress just because it’s not the lowest possible dose. If anything, I would expect that a higher dose of training would produce better results provided the person could tolerate it. If they can’t, they won’t make progress until they can or they lower the dose.
