From what I understand the 12 Week Template has you doing a form of squats two days in a row. This is assuming you follow the recommended Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule. Is my understanding correct here, and if so, what is the reasoning behind this? Won’t recovery be an issue?
Your assumption regarding training frequency is correct, though other schedules would be fine too.

The issue is that there is a notion one needs to be fully recovered prior to the next training session, which we are explicitly trying to avoid so that we can accumulate enough stress to drive an adaptation.
