Currently in week six of the Bridge 2.0.
Would it be reasonable to remove the last week of the Bridge 2.0 (low stress week), do the first four weeks of the hypertrophy template (of which week 4 is a low stress week), and then start the 12wk strength template, if a meet i’m planning to do in August would dictate such a timeline?
Or…
Should I run the Bridge 2.0 out, then do “something else” for three weeks prior to starting the twelve week template? If the latter, any brief suggestions on the “something else”?
*It’s important to note that I have no significant needs for hypertrophy, per se. I plan to compete in the 93s and usually wake up around 200lb. I’m really just looking for something useful to spend those few weeks doing, and I felt that an abbreviated hypertrophy block would be an ok idea between two strength blocks. Thoughts?
