Best meal on the go?

Hi,

I’m looking for a breakfast (and maybe even lunch) I can take with me on my bike commute to school (40 minutes). Ideally I’d cook something and stuff it in tupperware but I don’t think anything like that would survive the bike ride in my backpack. I mainly have trouble getting enough protein in my day as well as getting enough fruits and vegetables. I’m trying to maintain or lose weight.

I’m thinking a Quest bar, some yogurt and a couple pieces of fruit for breakfast. But are there some better choices I could make?

A pre-prepared meal will absolutely last in good quality tupperware (+/- it’s own small lunch box) on a bike ride. For breakfast, which is likely before said bike ride, I’d be thinking oats, fruit, Greek yogurt or something similar.

I’ve had great success with simple breakfast burritos when I was in a similar situation. They hold up very well if you can master wrapping them in plastic wrap, and are really versatile in terms of what you put in them.

Eggs, protein of your choice, cheese if you want,salsa, spinach tends to be my go-to. With an apple for added fiber, and because they’re delicious.
