Bridge or no Bridge?

With gyms opening back up here in Ontario, I’ve begun mapping out my training future. Long term, I’d like to get back into Olympic Weightlifting, though with 16+ months having not touched a barbell, I feel like a sustained, measured approach to building strength first is in order (with a sprinkling of Oly technique work like this article suggests on GPP days, maybe? How-To: Incorporate the Snatch and Clean into Your Program | Barbell Medicine)

Anyway, I was thinking of running the Beginner Template, Bridge (free), Strength, followed by the Max Aita/Juggernaut beginner weightlifting program before diving into your 4 week/Legacy and 12 week Olympic programs. Is the Bridge really necessary though? I’ve been keeping “fit”, running the at-home template continuously since the pandemic started, though sadly missing out on heavy squats and deadlifts.

Keep it in there and continue to build the foundation, or cut it and move on?

Also, any word on when I can order your supps here in Canada again?

Thanks for all you do, I’m excited to get back into the gym again, and the resources here have been truly incredible!

I don’t think you need to run the Bridge after the Beginner Template, as you’re work capacity, RPE skills, etc. will all have been developed during the Beginner Template.

Should be able to get our supps in Canada in the coming months, as we’re changing distributors.
