Change from conventional to sumo?

Hi! I have been through your 12 week program several times now. I want to replace conventional deadlift for sumo, just because. Should I also change the supplementary exercises on day 3 from conventional to sumo, or just keep it the same. I feel like I have gained so much strength that doing deadlifts the day after squats is very fatiguing. Should I continue to do day 1 and 2 back to back, or have a day in between?

I think it’s fine to change your comp DL to sumo, but since it’s new to you, I’d keep the other DL variation as conventional for your first pass. If you’re training 3 days a week, I would train on non consecutive days, but if you’re training 4+ days a week, some times you’ll have to train on back-to-back days. It’s okay to be fatigued and the absolute performance level rarely matters much during training. :slight_smile:
