While coaching a 47 yr old female through LP her right hip started to click when she would warm up,and sometimes while squatting or dead lifting.She has been told she has one leg longer than the other,but has not had her hip click prior to lifting.Its hard to tell if there is any real pain involved but as a novice she is worried that she may be hurting herself or causing permanent damage.
Athletic 5’10 150lb female 5 months into LP.Current lifts dead lift 135x 5,squat 95x5,bench 70x5 who has made solid progress
Should I be concerned about the clicking? If so is there a remedy?
If it isn’t a concern how do I reassure her she not hurting herself or causing permanent damage?
