Should I address this concern?

I have read pain in training what do but I have some questions relating to something I’ve been experiencing. my left shoulder clicks when moving it through a bench press type range of motion. I understand that clicking isn’t necessarily a symptom of an current or future injury but I want to confirm that this isn’t something I need to address. I do feel pain when doing dumbbell rows and I perceive and shifting withing my shoulder during bench press but no pain while benching. I am avoiding dumbell rows for now. is this something worth addressing or should I just avoid the rows for now? I have been experiencing these symptoms for about a month. only pain during the dumbbell rows. should I uses strategies in the pain article or ignore for now?

Hey zkirstein6@gmail.com - generally speaking we recommend adjusting loading to tolerance for those movements you may be struggling (e.g. rows). Broadly speaking, clicking in a shoulder doesn’t typically give me a lot of concern but if you are worried about this situation, then it’s reasonable to seek local consultation or remote with us.
