He has only been training for around 6 months,
Current body weight 80kg.
Bench: 70 for reps, 85 1RM
Squat: 85 for reps, 110 1RM
DL: 100 for reps, 120 1RM
He has either been doing bro splits or LP, he’s done surprisingly well for such a short time period without a proper program/diet or coach.
I’m assuming this still counts as beginner? or is he trained enough to get on the bridge?
Hey Jarred,
Good on you for helping out a friend. I’d probably recommend he do the Beginner Template all the way through before doing any of our other programs.

Hey Jordan,
Thanks for the reply, i have gotten 20 or so people onto BBM templates so far, hopefully that number will powerfully rise in the near future as i am looking for many more people to coach (and you guys program very well obviously).
I realised after making this initial post that you guys would definitely say beginners over the bridge, i have followed the FB group enough now.
So at what point would you stop recommending the beginners and recommend the bridge instead? For instance last night at gym i was talking to a guy who is currently running Thor’s strength program and was looking for something proven, so i gave him the BBM weblink etc, from his numbers i said the bridge 1.0 would work as a start.
Squat 180
Dead 200
Bench 130
(all 1rms)
at bodyweight 95-100kg with roughly 25% bodyfat. Is this in the ballpark?
