Timing for switching from LP to BBM (and template suggestion?)

Hey coaches,

Thanks for all of the great material. I’ve decided to run one of your programs instead of the SS Texas Method recommendation.

I’m rerunning SS LP after some time off. Due to a shoulder problem, I started initially with no bench pressing, leaving my lifts somewhat unbalanced for when I should transition off LP.
Numbers and Difficulty

Bodyweight - Roughly 170lbs

Squat - 285lbs 3x5, Very difficult, but still moving up 10lbs a week. 2 heavy days, 1 light.
Deadlift - 295lbs 1x5, Easy-ish, This should go back up to around 405x5 on LP.
Bench - 165lbs 3x5, Moderate, This should go back up to around 225 3x5 on LP.
Press - 137lbs 5x3, Moderate, Should go up another 10-20lbs.

If I stop making progress on Squat soon, is that a good time to transition to your programs? Or possibly run your programming for squat specific work while finishing LP on Bench/Deadlift? During the transition, should I run bridge 1.0 or 3.0 or can I just jump into the Strength template? Goal is to get bigger and stronger

Thank you for your time in advance. Looking forward to trying your programming.

I would just change programs entirely, as I don’t think there’s any point to running LP. It doesn’t work uniquely well, has no autoregulation, is too specialized, too much importance is placed on the performance in the workout, and ultimately isn’t going to put you in a better spot than if you just changed to a different program right now, which is what I’d recommend.

I’d start with the Bridge 1.0 and then powerbuilding or strength I.

Thanks Jordan. Will do.
