Competition

I have a few questions here. I’m competing in my first competition in April and was wondering two things. When it comes to training with chalk, do you recommend using it for heavy singles and then using straps for back off sets? Also are the competition shirts accepted by the USAPL? I’m trying to find a shirt to wear and would love to rep the brand!

Yep, our logo and subsequently all of our gear is approved for use in the USAPL and IPF.

As far as chalk goes, we recommend using it for most of your working sets and heavy warm ups. For a newer lifter, I would only use straps on supplemental pulls or if you tear a callus.
