Cutting programs

I have never really tailored my workouts to whether I was cutting, bulking, or maintaining. I would just try to run a program(Stronglifts, Madcow) as best I could regardless. My current goal is to cut a bit. I am currently 218lbs and would like to get down to 200lbs by winter. Then go into a bulk by November-ish. I’m navigating my way through The Bridge. Would this be ideal for cutting? Does it really matter? Or would there be a more suitable program to match my weight goals? And of course, I still want to get strong. I just want it all, like most people. :slight_smile: Thanks for you response in advance.

The programming outside of conditioning probably doesn’t matter whether you’re cutting or not provided it’s intelligently done.
