Dips and clavicle pain

Hi,
every time I do dips I feel a strange pain in my clavicles… it feels like the pain is in the bone. It starts only at the end of the set (I don’t feel any pain while I’m actually doing dips). It’s a sharp pain that goes away almost immediately after (5 seconds tops) but comes back at the end of the next set. Are you aware of any other cases like mine? Should I avoid dips?

We tend to avoid regular dips as they do have a higher tendency for some kind of tweak. Not for everyone, but if they are bothering you, yep, I’d avoid them.

I’ve had a similar pain in the sternum area, it’s not pleasant. It can be fixed by rotating your shoulders externally and maintaining thoracic extension while doing the movement.
