Floor Press and Long Arms

I’m currently doing the Bridge 3.0 and attempted floor presses for the first time. I’m 6’5” tall hand have long, ape-like arms. When I perform the movement and my elbows touch the floor, the barbell is several inches away from chest. My question is, is it worth it to do this exercise with such a short range of motion? Would it be better to do bench presses with my feet on the bench to take away the lower body contribution? Or just do incline presses?

You and I share the same arm anthropometry. I think a pin press with your feet up is a reasonable substitute, sure, though floor press is designed to be a partial ROM exercise. Sounds like you’re doing it right.
