Floor Press stronger Bench Press, programming advice

Hello,

This week I started with the bridge 3.0 and I noticed that my floor press is stronger then my regular bench press. I think this is an indication that I am weak of the chest in my regular Bench Press.

Now I am debating between two options:

  1. Upper my bench volume by switching OHP with the 2 ct bench press and keep the floor press so I can overload there and it also gives enough stimulus to the anterior delts.
  2. Lose the floor press and program the 2ct. Bench press there.

What do you guys think?

Floor press is common to be stronger than your bench press because it’s a reduced ROM. You don’t need to make any changes, this does not mean you are “weak off the chest”. Carry on.
